The Rector must appoint the Center Director for a three-year term from among faculty members who have academic competence and research or practical experience in fields related to the Center’s activities.
The Center Director must ensure that the Center’s work is carried out regularly in line with its objectives, supervise and audit all Center activities, and take necessary measures; the Director is primarily responsible to the Rector for these duties.
The Rector may appoint no more than two deputy directors for three-year terms from among Management Board members upon the Director’s proposal.
When the Director is absent, one deputy director must act in the Director’s place, and this acting period must not exceed six months.
If the Director leaves office before the end of the term, a new Director must be appointed by the same procedure to complete the remaining term.
